James Land Company -- Buy Now Option

This is an option given to any potential buyer of a property. If a buyer does not want to go through the auction process to determine the amount the property will bring, they may click on the buy now button for that property and pay the stated amount. The buyer, in this situation will take this option not knowing if the property would have brought this amount at auction or that it may have brought more than this.

The Buy Now option will be available up to the time at which the auction bidding becomes live on the website on select properties. In order to forgo the Auction process, the Buy/Sell Contract must be signed and returned and the earnest money deposited in the Trust account 24 hours prior to the bid acceptance date (see individual property auction).
