Broker's Comments

The Browns Hill Pasture is located approximately 15 miles northeast of Dixon in the southwestern part of Carbon County, Wyoming. Comprised of 640 deeded acres +/- and 80 acres of BLM lease, this scenic summer pasture features two large drainages that cut through the east & west sides of the property. The west drainage has a spring that provides water for livestock & wildlife, while the drainage on the east side of the ranch has a large pond. The combination of lush bottoms in the drainages, sparsely timbered aspen hillsides and sage covered flats provides ideal habitat for deer, antelope and other wildlife. Herds of elk can be found during the migration working up and down the drainages for food and cover. Bordering the property to the north is BLM along with Bird Gulch that the two drainages on the ranch feed into. The Browns Hill Pasture is set in an area known for its recreational attributes. West of the property is hundreds of thousands of acres of BLM and lying to the east is Savery Creek, the High Savery Reservoir, the Sierra Madre Mountain Range and the Medicine Bow National Forest. The pasture is accessed seasonally via a private easement coming off the Browns Hill Road (CR 602). To arrange a time to view the Browns Hill Pasture call James Land Company today at 307-326-3104.
