Located in northern Box Butte County, Nebraska between Hemingford and Crawford, the Hucke Ranch is comprised of 1,607 acres of deeded grassland. Improvements on the ranch include a 2,989 sq. ft. three bed, one bath home, garage, quonset, barn and numerous other outbuildings. This productive ranch is well watered via a number of dams that hold water in most years, three windmills and one submersible pump that needs some work. Historically the ranch has taken in 150 pairs from May through late September early October. The Hucke Ranch is accessed on County Road 79 and is approximately 14 miles from Hemingford, 30 miles from Crawford and 35 miles from Alliance.
