UNDER CONTRACT ~ The Dempsey Basin Ranch is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Kemmerer, Wyoming. Comprised of 1,239 deeded acres +/-, 640 acres of Wyoming state lease and 144 AUMS in the BLM’s Dempsey Basin Allotment, the subject property has historically been used as summer pasture. A number of forks of Dempsey Creek run through the property providing good livestock water. The majority of the property is tucked up against Dempsey Ridge, which is covered in dark timber with patches of aspen providing good cover for elk, deer and other wildlife. Bordered mostly by the BLM, the ranch offers good hunting and lots of recreation if you enjoy ATVing and hiking. Lake Viva Naughton and the Hams Fork River is just east of the property a couple miles and offers a variety of opportunities for the avid angler.
