Broker's Comments

The Longhorn RV and Motel is located three miles east of beautiful Dubois, Wyoming on Highway 26 / 287.  Comprised of approximately 48 acres +/- nestled in the Cottonwood trees along the Wind River, the Longhorn RV and Motel is one most spacious and beautiful lodging destinations in Wyoming.  The new and renovated motel portion offers travelers a refreshing change to staying in a crowded, noisy town.  There are 24 rooms including singles, doubles and king beds with some rooms featuring kitchenettes.  Each room has tile floors, new hand-carved furniture, new beds, linens and towels. In addition to the new furnishings, every room has air conditioning, free WiFi, cable TV, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator.  The RV Park is Wyoming newest and most spacious RV Park. The 58 full service sites with all new power (50/30/15 amp services), water lines, wireless internet, cable TV, streets, two private shower houses, laundry and a large pavilion are laid out along the Wind River and in the shade of large cottonwood trees. This is Wyoming nicest RV Park with many pull-throughs and sites right on the Wind River.  It was designed by RVers, for serious RV travelers.

We have all heard that real estate is based on three things.  Location, location, location.  The Longhorn has an incredibly beautiful setting that is one-of-a-kind. Located on the Wind River with ½ mile of frontage, the red Badland hills provide a background to the north and east, while the foothills of the Wind River Range rise up dramatically to the south and west.  Just 3 miles East of Dubois, the Longhorn RV and Motel is your headquarters for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson Hole and the surrounding lakes and mountains. Whether hiking, fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling or just visiting, the Dubois area has more public land and back-country roads than anywhere in Wyoming. World class fly- fishing and a more diverse big game population than any other region in the US bring sportsmen here from all around the world. Dubois is famous for it's Big Horn Sheep population, as well as elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, black bear, coyotes, mountain lion, and of course the grizzlies and wolves. The property is often frequented by mule deer and during the winter their numbers can rise to over 100 and frequently include several moose. For the bird watcher Canada Geese, numerous falcons, hawks and eagles are often seen on or above the trout filled river.

The Longhorn RV and Motel also features highway access and a nice office with attached home.  This is a turnkey operation and a once in a lifetime opportunity.  To arrange a time to view the Longhorn RV and Motel or if you have questions contact James Land Company at 307-326-3104.
